Facebook表示，该公司已经起诉NikolayHolper，因为他涉嫌经营一家名为Nakrutka的虚假社交媒体参与服务。该诉讼由旧金山联邦法院提起，Facebook指责Holper使用不同的网站向Instagram用户销售虚假参与服务。

Instagram及其母公司Facebook声称，此前已向Holper发送了一封“禁止通知函”，并禁用了据称与他和该服务相关的账户。Facebook称，此前曾就Holper违反条款的行为发出警告，并表示其诉讼的目的是:
